About, editorial policy and ownership

What this site covers

This site is a reference record for one product, IndexChex. It does not review other tools or teach SEO in general; those topics live on other sites in the IndexChex reference network. What it holds instead is the citable detail: limits and unit costs on the specifications page, how published numbers are produced on the methodology page, and every public claim with its basis on the claims ledger.

Ownership

backlinkindexersoftware.com is owned and published by IndexChex. It is not independent. Readers should weigh its measured figures as first-party data, which is why each one carries its basis and date.

Editorial policy

• Product facts are taken from the IndexChex product itself and its published price list and policies, and are checked against them before publication.
• Measured results are limited to the four averages IndexChex publishes from its weekly measurement on recurring URL sets. No sample sizes or further figures are added.
• Google behaviour is described only where it matches Google Search Central documentation, which is cited.
• Competitor facts are not published here. Where the network compares tools, each competitor figure carries a source URL and the date it was checked.
• No promotion. Pages carry no rankings, prizes, testimonials, ratings or customer counts.

Corrections

Errors can be reported to support@indexchex.com. Confirmed corrections are applied to the affected page and noted in the changelog.

Relationship to the product site

The commercial site at indexchex.com sells the service and hosts the account dashboard. This site does not sell anything and carries no sign-up forms. When the two disagree, the product's own price list and policies govern, and this site is corrected to match.
